Care records, attachments, and Chat history stay on your iPhone and are protected by Apple device data protection and file encryption. If you do not use Chat, care data does not leave your device. If the app crashes, we use a GDPR-compliant third-party performance tool (Sentry) for necessary, scrubbed diagnostics. When you tap Send in Chat, that message is sent directly to a GDPR-compliant LLM service provider; depending on your region and service availability, that provider may be OpenAI or DeepSeek. If Chat needs local records to answer, only a limited, redacted projection is included, not raw records, the full database, or attachments.
